Lishkat gius

Hello,
My son has been trying to get his draft date sorted out since February. Is this a normal wait time? trying to get any answers from Lishkat gius is impossible. He gets no replies,people promise to call back, they never do etc.

Any ideas on how to find out what is happening? I have tried the IDF Spokesman office, even tried to get help from the minister of defence, the Lone soldier centre etc.
Most people say yes they will help and that the last one hears, that is if a person gets a response at all.
I am starting to think my son has been wasting his time.

Did your son make Aliyah or volunteer through Mahal? If the latter, does he already have a residency visa and mispar zehut?
