Gibush tzanhanim in 7 days -- Need advice

Hi guys,

Today, i was informed, much by surprise that I have gibush tzanhanim on November 7.

What should i do to get in shape?

Ive been running 2k and ~70 pushpus 3-4 times a week for several weeks now, but i think i need to step it up.

Im now doing 2k + pushups + lunges twice a day.
What should i expect in the gibush?
Should i be doing more?

Any other advice you can give me?

I can't tell you all that much as I didn't do the gibush. And you likely know this already, but just in case you don't (and nobody else responds), keep in mind that the most important thing is to show you're a team player, that you're ready to work hard and can push yourself, and that you aren't in horrible shape. It sounds like you're keeping yourself in shape, so if you really do your best, you'll do just fine. It's not Sayeret Matkal.

yea, the main problem is that i am not in very good shape right now. I mean, like 12 min/ 2k is probably where i am right now...

i hope it will all turn out all right

anyone else have more advice?

Look, there really isn't all that much you can do at this point except keep up the workouts and keep a positive attitude. You're not going to improve your 2k in 4 days.

Do your very best in the gibush, help out the other guys when you can (they look for this sort of stuff), and keep your sense of humor. If you have one. Because that's another thing you can't develop in half a week. ;)
